What youll be doing...

The Global Real Estate / Global Supply Chain Business Systems, Analytics and Intelligence team is looking for a Senior Member of Technical Staff (SMTS) to support our expanded SAP Ariba platform. You will be responsible for developing and supporting GSC Sourcing organizations through identifying, evaluating and prioritizing source-to-pay solution innovations and improvements, as well as ensuring their timely execution.

You will work as a subject matter expert of SAP Ariba's Procure-to-Pay platform covering Guided Buying, Buying & Invoicing, supplier catalogs and the system integrations. You will be responsible for effectively linking procure-to-pay strategy to cloud and IT solutions and to provide technical and solution support to business stakeholders.

* Partner with managers and business analysts who provide business requirements for various procurement initiatives.
* Be responsible for the business and systems support for Ariba procure-to-pay platform including the integration linkages to various applications.
* Partnering with Procurement, IT, AP, third party developers and consultants, as well as a variety of stakeholder groups across Verizon.
* Diving continuous improvement while leading the business deployment of procure-to-pay strategies enabling significant savings.
* Project management, process subject matter expertise to implement solutions, data quality management, business acceptance testing, delivery of training programs and communication of the improvement initiatives.
* Translate the technical portions into understandable terms when working with your business partners.
* Align various work streams to ensure the same vision and goal is achieved among cross- functional team efforts.



What were looking for...

You'll need to have:

* Bachelors degree or four or more years of work experience.
* Six or more years of relevant work experience.
* Business application support experience.
* Willingness to travel up to 25%.

Even better if you have:

* Bachelors degree technical field.
* Masters degree.
* Knowledge of SAP Ariba Procure-to-Pay platform.
* Knowledge of SAP Ariba Strategic Sourcing suite.
* Knowledge of sourcing, supplier enablement, procurement and accounts payable processes.
* System training and end user testing experience.
* Project management experience.
* Strong Excel, Visio and MS Project skills.
* Knowledge of SAP and PeopleSoft ERPs.
* Ability to present approach, justification and business cases to executive management.
