Overview:

The Loss Prevention Specialist plays a key role in protecting the assets of the Distribution Center, with focus in the following areas: operational shrink control, internal investigations, and shortage root cause analysis. Works closely with the Lead Specialist, and reports to the Loss Prevention Supervisor.

Schedule: Friday- Sunday 7:30pm - 4:00am

Responsibilities:

* Provide protection of all company assets including people, property, and information.
* Conduct theft investigations including surveillance via CCTV and covert equipment.
* Transact, audit and support operational team with trailer yard activities.
* Monitor alarm systems, building access, and fire and life safety regulations.
* Serve as a business partner in the area of operational processes and inventory to reduce shrink.
* Capacity to handle confidential information

* Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
* Action driven, and results oriented.
* Demonstrated ability to work well in a fast-paced and multi-tasking environment

The Skills that will Make You Successful:

* 2+ years of relevant work experience in Loss Prevention and / or a Bachelors degree, or on track to obtaining a Bachelors degree in a relevant major.
* Demonstrates positive energy and motivation
* Ability to be successful working independently and as part of a team
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Professional Suites
* Strong technical knowledge of CCTV equipment and systems
* Self-motivated to work individually or in a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Interviewing and Interrogation experience desired and Wicklander and Zulawski certification is a plus
* Experience working in an industrial setting: warehouse or distribution center.
