The Senior Program Manager/Director of Security Enablement plays a critical role helping field teams build customer trust through the development, facilitation, curation, and production of content & programs designed to empower the field to conduct Security conversations with key customer stakeholders, strengthen our partnerships with them, promote strong Security best practices, and unlock new revenue opportunities.



Primarily, you work with Enablement, Product Marketing, Sales, SE and CSG teams to identify focused areas of need and work with partners to define messaging, value propositions, content and assets to increase awareness and understanding of Salesforce Security to our internal sales teams and ultimately, to our customers. Youll create and execute a strategic omni-channel program for the field focused on developing, creating, curating, and distributing security-related content, including but not limited to, sales kits, solution briefs, qualification/prospecting scripts, messaging guides, first-call decks, overview decks, policy & procedure information, customer case studies, whitepapers, thought leadership, webinars, internal community posts, and more to help educate the field while promoting Security engagement as part of Salesforces customer relationships.



Secondarily, you work collaboratively with other SC&E team members, Security team members, and cross-functional stakeholders to identify and develop security relationships with SMEs while consulting, collaborating, and assisting in the development of customer-facing content and messaging for events, meetings, and presentations.



Core Responsibilities

* Create and execute a strategic omni-channel enablement programs focused on developing, creating and distributing security-related content to internal sales teams with the purpose of educating and informing them on messaging, updates, and developments with Salesforce Security.

* Define and deliver field training & enablement content to enhance sales effectiveness of customer-facing teams around Security.

* Collaborate with other Enablement teams, Security leadership, SMEs and the SC&E team to understand field enablement requirements and translate needs into content and/or programs that enable the field to execute.

* Develop content strategies based on a deep understanding of customer needs, market trends, and the independent software vendor/channel partner landscape.

* Validate and approve content created by sales teams to ensure proper messaging and audience alignment.

* Build a detailed and robust metrics and reporting system to measure effectiveness of your programs and associated campaigns.

* Concept, develop, write, edit, format, curate and distribute Enablement content including, but not limited to, sales kits, solution briefs, qualification/prospecting scripts, messaging guides, first-call decks, overview decks, policy & procedure information, customer case studies, whitepapers, thought leadership, webinars, internal community posts, and more

* Creating, updating and enhancing content that adheres to format, content and style guidelines, with consideration to usability and ensuring accuracy, consistency and quality.

* Develop and maintain relationships with Field Enablement Groups (i.e. AE Enablement, Field Enablement Leaders, SE Enablement, Product Enablement, CSG Enablement, Partner Enablement) to ensure alignment with Security initiatives and larger Enablement efforts

* Ongoing curation of Enablement-related content to our internal Security Website distribute and maintain relevant enablement content via applicable field channels

* Drive and monitor content consumption, application and ongoing reinforcement

* Ability to take direction, feedback and guidance from management and provide frequent project updates to ensure alignment with team goals.

* Ability to give constructive feedback to others, including senior management, in a concise, clear, and professional manner.

* Working knowledge/experience of cybersecurity topics

* Experience writing marketing content for technology

* Strong verbal/written communication and data presentation skills, including an ability to communicate effectively with both business and technical teams.

* Strong executive presence and desire to continually improve communication and execution abilities

* Positive attitude and ability to collaborate with others and work as a team.

* Deep understanding of the Salesforce vision and strategy; desire to continually learn and stay abreast of latest company priorities and innovations.

* Working knowledge of cloud providers and service offerings. General knowledge/experience in cybersecurity a plus.

* Previous experience creating Enablement content for technology, and/or strong journalism experience with a portfolio of published work that demonstrates consistently high-quality writing and/or research skills

* Curiosity, willingness to learn and technical acumen are essential qualities for success



Required Experience

* 8+ years of prior experience in field-facing enablement content/program development around technology and/or technical content for the Senior Engagement Security Program Manager

* 10+ years of prior experience in field-facing enablement content/program development around technology and/or technical content for the Engagement Security Program Director

* Required tools knowledge: Google G Suite, PowerPoint/Google Slides

* A strategic thinker with proven ability to work cross-functionally

* Willingness to collaborate with others and champion a strong team environment

* Ability to lead, manage and execute multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented and nimble environment

* Demonstrated effectiveness in influencing senior leadership

* Strong self-starter with a history of successful project execution

* Detail-oriented and strong organizational skills

* Excellent project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and re-prioritize on the fly

* Work samples/portfolio will be requested for all interviews



Preferred Skills

* Prefer cybersecurity subject matter knowledge but not required

* Security background

* Desired tools knowledge: Adobe Creative Suite, graphics skills

* Experience with data and analytics

* Experience creating and utilizing KPIs and KRIs

* Engaging and managing consulting partners for large scale projects

* Experience with dashboards and data visualization tools

* Excellent presentation and communication skills

* Industry certifications in security, technology, and/or business management are a plus (e,g, CRISC, CISSP, CCIE, CISM, CISA)

* Knowledge of cloud computing
