Job Architecture is a multi-year project to define a common role framework across Microsoft. Job Architecture will be the foundation for optimizing employee experiences across hiring, pay, learning and development, and career opportunities.
We have a huge opportunity to unlock the vision of Job Architecture within our Global Talent Acquisition (GTA) hiring practices including job postings, screening, and interviewing. The GTA Director will lead this change to fully integrate Job Architecture into our GTA practices and realize the long-term vision.
The GTA Director will be responsible for:
* Successful integration of Job Architecture role content into Global Talent Acquisition hiring practices (job postings, screening, and interviewing)
* Program Management of the complex project across a matrixed team
* Effective collaboration and stakeholder management across HR and within GTA
* Develop and implement Change Management strategies for Recruiting, Hiring Managers and Interviewers, Admins/WOBs
COE Services:
* Sets long-term vision for the planning and prioritization of Center of Excellence (CoE) programs; identifies strategic goals to guide the design of policy, process, and tools that can be operationalized and managed at scale.
* Provides thought leadership and expertise to influence strategy to support program readiness in partnership with HR partners and stakeholders
Project Management:
* Identifies needs and leads the team in providing operational, infrastructure, and employee support analysis; provides industry-wide expertise and strategic insights to inform project management.
* Translates HR programs into operational project plans; defines the scope of work for projects; oversees requirements gathering; provides mitigation plans to address risks and issues in project execution.
* Defines project objectives and success criteria; guides project management by providing resources needed and auditing progress and deliverables; partners with stakeholders/project sponsors/steering committee to evaluate project impact.
Solutions Management:
* Synthesizes business analyses to drive business decisions; identifies trends on employee experience and provides clarity on future HR strategies.
* Provides input to Corporate Services Engineering (CSE) on the development of system production Key Performance Indicators (KPIs); influences senior HR, HRBI, and/or Engineering partners to ensure that appropriate monitoring (i.e., data telemetry and systems) and maintenance is in place.
Operational Compliance:
* Reviews business cases; provides broad perspectives across processes on risk areas; makes decisions to establish process and operating procedure documentation; provides oversight to business continuity strategy.
* Oversees the tracking of HR compliance risks, trends, and action plans to address risks; creates strategic mitigation plans; develops and presents risk assessment reporting to key leaders and stakeholders to prioritize risk mitigation initiatives.
Required/Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field AND 9+ years experience in Operations, Compliance, Human Resources, Engineering, or related field
* OR 11+ years experience in Operations, Compliance, Human Resources, Engineering, or related field
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience with Talent Acquisition
* Experience managing large programs/projects
* Experience on IT/CFE related projects
