We are looking for a talented applied scientist who is excited about working in the intersection of software engineering and machine learning to help our team push the envelope of artificial intelligence. As a member of our team you would work in an exciting and fast-paced environment, collaborating with product teams, core platform teams and others across the company, including Microsoft Research (MSR). You will work as part of an organization that brings together talent in the areas of machine learning, natural language processing, information retrieval, software engineering, and trustworthy computing. * Analyze real world data and propose novel solutions to user challenges
* Dogfood new ML platform features and provide feedback to the platform teams for improving the state of AI Infrastructure for compliant experimentation.
* Implement pipelines to prepare and learn from large data sets
* Design algorithm and experiments to understand user behavior and make data driven decisions
* Contribute quality code to high performance production systems
* Ship models to production to power user facing features

* Bachelor's degree in computer science or closely related field, Masters or PhD preferred
* 2+ years' experience in production modeling or software development
* 3+ years' experience in at least one of the following
* Machine Learning (Deep Learning a plus)
* Information Retrieval
* Natural Language Processing
* Superior verbal and written communication skills
