WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

This position oversees the Nike Direct Digital Commerce and Nike Stored Owned (NDDC/NSO) marketplace planning across the Asia-Pacific/Latin-America business unit. Sitting on the NDDC/NSO team, this individual will help drive key performance indicators by crafting and encouraging plans to elevate the business. They need to possess vast digital experience, along with proven analytical, collaborative, and communication skills. Comprehension of Merchandising, Buying and retails sales is strongly recommended.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

This role will include communicating financial plans, forecasts and strategies in key meetings. You will proactively report on the health of the business and facilitate sound business decisions and action plans, to managers and cross-functional team members, on a weekly basis. You will collaborate with peers to ensure consistency of information, build best practices, and develop systems knowledge. In addition, you will participate in a team structure that facilitates and maximizes individual and team performance, supporting and encouraging an open and inclusive environment that champions diversity, encourages accountability, and drives toward results.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

In this role, you will lead key business initiatives and goals through demand and supply management. You will partner with the broader cross-functional team to build and refine strategies; you will support strategies with development of comprehensive financial forecasts. You will work across a highly diverse team of counterparts, with key partners that are both WHQ-based and territory-based. You will look across the total marketplace, developing a deep understanding of business needs across both the owned and unowned channels. You will be responsible for supporting multiple product lines, each with unique timelines and nuances.

WHAT YOU BRING

* Bachelor's degree in Business or related field
* 6 years' retail relevant experience in merchandise buying or planning, company planning, merchandising, allocations or operations
* 2 additional years' experience is generally accepted in lieu of degree
* Experience in Digital vertical retail preferred
* Strong and demonstrated ability to optimally communicate and influence others; ability to successfully communicate sophisticated and/or sensitive topics and concepts to a wide and diverse audience; experience working with highly-diverse international team preferred
* Solid understanding of cross team calibration; international experience preferred
* Comprehensive understanding of retail math; ability to interpret financial sales data to make decisions and recommendations that impact the business
* Experience in developing an understanding of customers, competitors and retail trends; knowledge of sports apparel and footwear market preferred
* Experience working across multiple business platforms, including owned website/apps and partner businesses
* Familiarity with merchandise and forecasting management systems
* PC literate with solid understanding and experience with Excel
* Ability to develop strong working relationships with management and external resources
