We are building up an engineering team in house accountable for our strategic products. Well have diverse squads made up of engineers with traditional and specialized skillsets, both from internal engineers coupled with our partners, to help us flex with demand and solve technology innovation challenges done at an incredible scale.

Job Description
The Product Engineer Manager, Mobile App CRM is responsible for the agile development of the CRM product roadmap. The PEM will partner with CRM Strategy Product Managers to maintain their development backlog, write user stories, and refine requirements that bring the CRM Product Strategy to life on the McDonalds Mobile App. They will be responsible for the successful delivery of the product features into markets, and will set and maintain standards for quality, performance, and reliability. The ideal candidate is excited to roll up their sleeves and get into the details with their engineering team in order to find elegant technical solutions to customer and business pain points.

Reporting to the Director of Product Engineering, you will manage Associate PEMs and development squads to deliver on your backlog. You will collaborate with a cross-functional team including Digital Customer Engagement, Architecture, Data, UX Design, Program Management, Marketing and Operations to ensure successful product delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

* Manage and mentor Associate Product Engineering Managers and Business Analysts
* Maintain story backlog, set sprint goals & approve sprint plan, partnering with development on recommended sequencing
* Write user stories and refine requirements, and lead cross-team refinement sessions
* Ensure stories have the proper technical, edge cases, error handling, analytics, and non-functional requirements
* Prioritize defects raised by Markets and Live Services teams
* Serve as main point of contact to development squads
* Maintain product documentation
* Manage Squad capacity & ensure proper resourcing to achieve roadmap & support market deployments
* Actively participate in product Discovery Sessions with Product Managers
* Collaborate with the Product Managers, UX Design Team, and Engineering teams on a daily basis for the betterment of the product
* Define and drive priorities for engineering sprints and product releases
* Work closely with peer product managers across all capabilities to coordinate product development and delivery

Qualifications
* Native app technical product management or product owner experience, preferably with CRM, Loyalty, or Personalization products.
* Experience directly managing others
* 4+ years of Agile Product Management experience
* Experience on customer-facing Commerce products, preferably on a global scale
* Strong quantitative analysis skills
* Strong technical skills; proven ability to work with and influence engineering team
* Experience translating customer and business needs into a digital product feature backlog
* Superior interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
* Experience leading cross-functional teams and managing indirect reports to achieve organizational goals
* Expertise in digital project and product planning, including story creation, backlog prioritization, and trade-off processes
* Curious, task-oriented, and a self-starter, with a proven track record of getting things done
