Job Description

Reporting to the Learning Manager or Learning Director, the Learning Lead executes JPMC Learning strategies by creating engaging learning experiences and/or programs for new hire and incumbent employees across a variety of topics including new joiner, systems, process, compliance, sales, emergent skills and others. The Learning Lead designs and develops instructor-led, virtual, experiential, self-study and digital learning solutions in partnership with project sponsors, Subject Matter Experts, Learning Relationship Managers and others. Primary duties of the Learning Lead include determining learning modality, creating solution and/or program design, developing learning solutions, supporting program and solution implementation and addressing learner feedback.
Internal Description

Core Responsibilities:

* Works on multiple learning projects that may require complex design, advanced development techniques, and large-scale program/project management.
* Partners with the Client Learning Relationship Manager and Client Learning Director to develop and grow client relationships.
* Works with the client, project sponsor, subject matter experts and others to develop learning including instructor-led, virtual, experiential, self-study, digital solutions and others.
* Contributes to the development of the LOB/Program learning strategy and annual training plan.
* Performance consults and conducts complex needs analyses to determine root cause of performance gaps and recommends learning and non-learning performance solutions.
* Designs learning solutions consistent with adult learning theory, JPMC Learning design principles, and modern delivery methods that effectively achieve learning objectives.
* Leverages early and continuous feedback through prototyping and testing to reach consensus with project sponsors and SMEs.
* Partners effectively with the Learning Center of Excellence and CRT to ensure timely and effective development and seamless implementation of learning solutions.
* Develops and manages program timelines, schedule, communication, marketing and budgets.
* Identifies and communicates learning program measurement and evaluation strategies including learner reaction, knowledge gain, behavior change and impact on business results.
* Remains current with the latest learning trends, training innovations and product offerings.
* Serves as a consultant to other LOB training groups, sharing best practices.
* Mentors more junior members of the learning team
* In addition to Core Responsibilities, on an as needed basis, the Learning Lead:
* Supports the execution of learning strategy/ programs.
* Supports skill application strategy and interprets data to measure impact.
* Provides learning implementation support.
* Delivers train-the-trainer sessions to learning delivery partners.
* Facilitates instructor-led and virtual instructor-led training sessions.
* Communicates delivery requirements to internal team and vendor based on capacity/capability/budgetary constraints.
* Develops marketing plan based on targeted audience analysis/role/location profile.
* Monitors and adjusts marketing approach based on utilization objectives.
* Builds and maintains vendor relationships w/focus on quality, relevance, controls, and execution.

* Qualification, Experience, and Attributes
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent in business, financial services, HR, L&D, education, or similar
* 5-7 years of experience performing learning instructional design, development, analysis and related tasks
* 5-7 years of experience managing large, complex projects
* Proven consulting, negotiating and influencing skills
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Strong interpersonal, relationship and meeting management skills
* Self-directed, self-motivated and ability to work independently
* Organized, able to prioritize work, able to balance multiple competing priorities
* Strong working knowledge of MS Office
* Experience using training technology tools like Captivate and Storyline preferred
