Description
The Actuarial Analyst will be responsible for supporting the modeling of Pharmacy claims and model assumptions. The associate will work closely with stakeholders to ensure Rx projections are within expectations while meeting deadlines. The associate will contribute in developing new tools in order to better understand assumptions and checking results from the projection model.
Responsibilities
The Actuarial Analyst in this role will experience the modeling of pharmacy claims and their adjudication while at the same time be exposed to the technical details of the projection model. The role also allows to work with all assumptions embedded in the model. The Actuarial Analyst will also be developing tools and reports that allow a better visualization of the model output. The associate will be supporting the modeling of financial impacts due to changes in Part D legislation.
Required Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree
* Successful completion of at least 1 actuarial exam
* Meets requirements for Humana's Actuarial Professional Development Program (APDP)
* Strong communication skills
* Must be passionate about contributing to an organization focused on continuously improving consumer experiences
Preferred Qualifications
* SAS and SQL knowledge
* Part D experience
