Northrop Grumman Space Systems is looking for a Security Coordinator 3 for our Aurora, CO facilities.
Responsible for the campus access control systems and supports many campus physical security functions. Oversees the production/issuance of employee and guest badges, identification cards, and security reader cards. Processes security information and data for employment records, security clearances, and property control. Maintains lock and key records and responsible for reprogramming/resetting locks (Simplex/Cypher and X08/09/10). Processes visit authorizations for employees and guests to gain access to restricted areas using JPAS/DISS and Scattered Castles and verifies accuracy of information prior to granting facility access. Responsible for classified media destruction. Handles classified shipments and maintains incoming and outgoing shipment logs. Maintains controlled security documents and information. Provides excellent customer support to internal and external personnel.
Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
* High School diploma/GED and 4 years additional education and/or experience in Security Administration
* Active SCI clearance.
* Strong Customer Service skills
* Working knowledge of the NISPOM and applicable sponsor procedures.
* Experience managing access control and key control programs
* Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred Qualifications:
* Understanding of LENEL access control system and camera monitoring systems.
* Experience with SIMS database.
* 3+ years of security administrative support experience.
* Knowledgeable and able to answer questions; provide security administrative procedure and policy.
* Experience working with customer-based security components (DoD and other Intelligence Community customers).
* Experience using JPAS/DISS and Scattered Castles for clearance look-ups and Visit Requests.
* Basic COMSEC understanding.
* Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with internal/external customers and across organizational elements.
* Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion.
* Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines.
* Active SCI access with polygraph.
