What Youll Do
As an EH&S Manager here, youll be part of our EH&S team located in Houston, Texas. In this role, you will plan and direct activities concerned with development, application, and maintenance of health, safety and environment standards. You will contribute, participate and assist to drive continuous improvement plan with leadership team. You will support Quality and Continuous Improvement compliance programs.

Specifically, youll perform the following duties:

* Maintain Health, Safety and Environment standards as applicable to Houston facility, according to Corporate guidelines.
* Determine overall facility safety and environment compliance by conducting and evaluating audits, tests and related procedures. Resolve safety/environment problems in facility and field issues as needed.
* Assist management to identify at risk work processes and coordinate local Risk Assessment audits. Ensure identified actions are tracked to closure.
* Conduct EH&S Training for new hire and refresher training as required. Conduct employee safety training to ensure compliance with state and federal guidelines and oversee employee Safety training records.
* Maintain current Energy, Carbon, Water and Waste levels as per SBD Scorecard goals and complete required SBD reporting on SBDs EHS Web.
* Ensure Maintenance of Compliance documents as they pertain to EPA and TCEQ requirements. Work with agencies in the event of any announced/unannounced Local, State or Federal inspections or audits.
* Eliminate/control hazardous conditions resulting from human error, equipment and machine operations that may lead to injury and/or property damage.
* Promote safety awareness and encourage and promote a safe working culture.
* Conduct on site accident investigations to determine root causes for accidents.
* Oversee Fleet and DOT driver program.
* Manage site security system and take after hours and weekend calls from the Stanley Monitoring Center when there are burglar and fire alarm events. Decide when to dispatch police/disregard when appropriate.
* Monitor and manage all facility vendor services (Cintas, pest control, HVAC, etc.)
* Assist in facility management projects including obtaining quotes and scheduling services.
* Liaise with Corporate EH&S Team to ensure common system and sharing of best practices.
* Improve and advance the overall culture of the Safety Program.
* Responsible for supporting all quality measures and procedures.
* All other duties assigned, as appropriate.

What you will need:

* Bachelors Degree in Occupational Health & Safety Management, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Science or related discipline and experience.
* 7+ years of relevant experience in Occupational Safety, Health and Environmental Management. Manufacturing experience is preferred.
* Familiarity with governmental, environmental, health and safety management, regulatory and legal systems and parameters.
* Ability to be available to take and respond to calls as needed, including weekends.
