Northrop Grumman Tactical Space Systems is currently seeking an experienced Principal EVM Business Systems Analyst to provide expertise and support to our Business Systems Team at our Dulles, VA. location.
Role Description amp; Responsibilities:
The Principal EVM Business Systems Analyst is responsible for providing process and tool guidance, implementation and administration in support of Business Operations and program execution, to include: Perform analysis, identify and implement optimal approaches for the effective setup and deployment of business processes and tools in support of Business Operations. Play a key supporting role in success of internal surveillance and government audits by creating and implementing efficient, common methodologies across programs. Work closely with multifunctional and cross business teams including partnering with program office teams, customers and enterprise-level teams. Coordinate tool selection, implementation and administration, conduct business process and tool training classes and workshops consistent with the Company and Division EVM system definition and implementation, as well as industry best practices.

Job Duties:
* Provide Tier 1 through 4 support for both enterprise and in-house developed tools, primarily developed in VBA/Excel amp; MS Access.
* Support the configuration, maintenance, upgrade, testing, and troubleshooting of supported applications including SSI Tools for MS Project, Deltek Cobra and Acumen, and Encore-Analytics Empower.
* Implement approved features to custom tools and evaluate and manage desired enhancements for commercial tools.
* Observe Business Management processes supporting program execution and proactively identify process gaps and opportunities to streamline processes.
* Work collaboratively with Information Systems and Financial Systems personnel, systems, and strategies.
* Host tool and process training events and provide live demonstrations of tool capabilities to users.
* Maintain awareness of Division financial policies, disclosure statements and processes to assure understanding potential impacts to changes / developments of supported systems.
* Maintain awareness of government/industry and vendor specific developments to leverage and/or mitigate impact to existing systems, processes, policies as appropriate.
Qualification
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelor 39;s degree
* Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in one or more of the following areas:
* Development and maintenance of software applications, including Microsoft Visual Basic for Applications
* Conducting testing, analysis and reporting results of software updates
* Process and tool documentation, development of training material and delivery of process and tool training to users
* Troubleshooting tool and process issues, including analysis of data and output, to provide the required results.
* Working knowledge and experience using Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Access).
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experienced system administrator for client/server database driven tools, specifically Deltek Cobra or similar enterprise-level Earned Value Management System software
* Experience with Earned Value Management and related practices and tools.
* Knowledge and understanding of project scheduling, using a commercial off the shelf scheduling software tools.
* Experience with Deltek Cobra or Costpoint systems, or similar business systems.
* Working knowledge of relational databases and SQL script creation, Microsoft Share Point, and HTML development experience.
* Experience with implementation of Lean/Six Sigma initiatives.
* Professional Certifications in Earned Value Management, Program Management, and/or Information Technology are preferred
* Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility
