WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Nike Consumer Direct Marketing is looking for an Email Manager to help define and execute the channel strategy for how Nike can to bring outstanding brand experiences to life for our largest and most direct marketing channel! As part of Consumer Direct Marketing and the Platform Marketing team, your mission will be focused on creating experiences centered on a 365 lifestyle of sport, built around the needs of the athlete* and at the pace of sport.

This role will oversee the execution of strategic email tactics to drive new levels of engagement and retention. A strength in this role is someone who is a subject matter expert of all aspects of email (ie. Inbox placement/deliverability, channel standard methodologies, new emerging trends), analytically minded and has a. deep knowledge email capabilities required to improve channel performance.

This role requires a strategic attitude proven through innovative thinking and expertise to drive key decisions that are consumer-centric and deliver long-term channel growth. Were looking for a demonstrated digital marketing manager who is creative, collaborative, and eager to develop and lead a highly effective team!

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will be responsible for helping shape and implementing the email marketing strategy and the management of the programs day-to-day responsibilities (ie: calendar programming, segmentation and strategy around messaging, journey mapping, executing email learning agenda). To achieve both brand and business goals, you will be focused on defining ways to drive next level engagement and continuously optimize all aspects of the program (ie: audience targeting, email frequency, content formats, email contact-ability etc) through an approach driven. You will actively supervise/report on email performance (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and analyze performance to surface key insights to action, and staying on top of email standard methodologies and competitive landscape to drive long-term growth.

As the manager of the channel, you will be responsible for the seasonal email production schedules inclusive on time execution, ensure content is channel-right and secure vital approvals from all applicable partners. Additional non-seasonal responsibilities will be supporting the launch of email features (ie: Dynamic personalized modules) and new trigger campaigns in partnership with the 365 Member Comms team.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

Email is a critical channel for our Nike Direct Digital Commerce (NDDC) business and is highly cross-functional in nature, requiring collaboration and partnership across both the brand and business function. Daily interactions include Consumer Insights & Analytics, Audience Selection, Site Merchandising, NDDC platform business leads and creative/authoring teams to read & react to both channel and overall business performance.

WHAT YOU BRING

* 5 years of relevant digital marketing experience for an e-commerce retail company, with direct email experience preferred
* Results driven and analytically minded, comfortable with data and deriving insights to action
* Ability to quickly adapt to the changing needs of our brand, business and move at the pace of the consumer
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Experience working cross-functionally in a matrix organization
* Natural digital curiosity with in-depth awareness and passion for learning the marketplace, consumer trends, evolving email landscape and industry standard methodologies.
* A desire to be a part of a fast-paced, high energy, skilled team of marketers that have a passion for sport and culture and crafting meaningful connections between consumers and the Nike brand
