The Sales Programs Consultant Broadcom/HBA designs and implements the primary sales programs and campaigns to be executed by the Server sales teams in NA focused on HBA solutions. These programs will drive sales effectiveness and strategic initiatives within the NA Server business.
The success measure is the volume, effectiveness, pipeline, and revenue created by the sales programs, along with the overall enablement and segment success. The Server Programs Manager will define the sales strategy, work across the Center of Competence (CoC), sales enablement, and Sales teams to enable the teams, and work with sales leadership to drive sales performance.
Key responsibilities include each of the following, focused on HBA attach programs:
* Create and manage the go-to-market plan for various sales roles responsible for driving server sales, including SCs, TSRs, core account executives, Channel teams, and Alliances teams selling Servers solutions to customers.
* Work with Product Line Management team to drive solution content through our sales programs and activities for maximum value and impact.
* Gather feedback on program effectiveness through multiple channels, including direct customer interaction, and communicates to appropriate marketing and business leaders.
* Set success metrics and drives attainment against leading indicators and performance metrics for key initiatives, including play performance, seeds utilization, demonstration frequency and effectiveness, sales activity, pipeline development, revenue and margin.
* Determine most effective segment/vertical sales tools and drives usage to maximize sales productivity. Tools include sales plays, sales programs, marketing activities, sales enablement.
* Develop training and enablement plans for Server solutions across sales teams, driving education, knowledge consumption, and field support.
* Develops and/or adapts content and programs that achieve sales demand through print and electronic collateral delivery, sales training, customer research and customer briefings.
* Utilizes standard campaign methodology and metrics to track local/ BU marketing/sales efforts and drive program results throughout quarter/year.
* Executes product launches at local level, working with cross-functional teams. Provides inputs into events strategy, including recommended events, budget allocation, and proposed themes.

QUALIFICATIONS
Skills for success in this position include:
* 7+ years experience in Server, Storage and/or networking technical sales with established record of quota attainment or equivalent experience working with Sales teams in direct support of solution sales efforts.
* 2-3 years experience developing sales programs for direct or channel sales teams
* Experience creating and executing marketing plans, training and enablement plans, and/or driving sales teams to results.
* Experience developing business cases, creating reporting, and justifying investments using ROI analysis and other metrics.
* Working knowledge of the Dell Server portfolio and awareness of industry competitors and trends.
* Strong technical and business acumen.
* Bachelors degree
