Responsible for risk management and trading activities with limited direction from more senior staff. Scope of activities and authority defined by trading limits. Strong knowledge of risk management, hedging and trading strategies as well as market characteristics.

* Works independently and is responsible for risk management and trading activities with limited direction from more senior staff
* Scope of activities and authority defined by trading limits, transaction control, and book marking. Responsible in the absence of senior traders to make sure EOD is accurate and reflects our markets view.
* Executes transactions in accordance with established trading strategies and risk parameters while implementing personal strategic market making inventory views
* Contributes to the formulation of long term strategies used for desk, sales and origination market views
* May be needed to provide technical and product support to more junior associates

Required skills

* Strong knowledge of risk management, hedging and trading strategies as well as market characteristics
* Has a thorough knowledge of product area including market liquidity and volatility, pricing, and trading/hedging strategies of the compliance and voluntary environmental products markets
* Minimum of 2 years experience within environmental products traded markets is necessary to effectively manage daily operations
