The Channel Interactive Technology team manages a suite of systems and tools that enable world-class in-store demo experiences for millions of Apple customers worldwide. As a Senior Production Engineer, your focus will be on demo content production, testing, and deployment. Your team is responsible for deploying content across all LOBs and many localizations to ensure a high-quality and relevant customer experience. This position requires an outstanding individual who can strategize, prioritize and achieve content deployment goals, has a high attention to detail, and a strong understanding of the Apple customer experience.



Key Qualifications

Key Qualifications

* Expertise with macOS, iOS, watchOS, tvOS, Apple Apps and services, and Apple hardware
* Minimum 5 years experience in developing and automating using scripting and coding languages (Python, JavaScript, Swift, C++, C, ObjectiveC, SQL, JSON etc.)
* Experience with building automation frameworks
* Very detailed oriented, and have a knack for finding needles in haystacks
* Deep knowledge of Quality Assurance and software lifecycle best practices within fast paced and dynamic environments
* Experience designing functional and regression testing frameworks
* Experience deploying software and hardware of large scale and complexity
* Comfortable working with content in foreign languages
* Experience with Mobile Device Management (MDM), a strong plus

Design the frameworks used to build, package, and test iOS, tvOS, watchOS, and macOS demo content images at scale Design the production strategies that meet both short and long term business objectives for a team that provides year-round output Constantly evaluate and update build strategy to ensure demo content scalability and accuracy Design end-to-end functional and regression test programs for technical systems Develop technical documentation including training, installation, and FAQs Design and implement best practice QA test methodologies, processes and tools Document test findings, analyze data, and lead bug reporting Present strategies and findings to executive leadership Maintain and regularly update lab servers and build stations Provide technical guidance to internal, external and seasonal team members
