* Strong program management and organization skills
* Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
* Experience working with OEMs on highly sophisticated products
* Experience in manufacturing, process engineering or product development
* Results oriented and attention to detail
* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to present to management
* Experience with laser systems and process methods preferred
* Ability to travel up to 15-20%

Description

OPMs are pivotal to the dynamic development and launch of Apples products. A successful OPM is a leader and facilitator; is dynamic, driven, organized and detail oriented; excels in program/ project management; communicates with ease at all levels; thrives in an ambiguous environment and is adept at facilitating actions and resolving conflicts. Furthermore, OPMs lead within worldwide Operations and collaborate with the core product development teams and other functional organizations within Apple. The Laser Operations Program Manager (Laser OPM) works cross-functionally to enable on time, high-quality delivery of laser projects that span multiple lines of business and manufacturing touch-points. Key Responsibilities: - Leading Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) operations team in planning and executing laser projects and development roadmaps. - Drive laser implementations with Engineering, Operations and multiple OEM teams across the world. - Handle equipment readiness to ensure part availability, quality and cost. - Communicate requirements and schedules to facilitate technical readiness with supply chain and OEM teams. - Influence product manufacturability, flexibility, and supply chain responsiveness in pursuit of low cost and flexibility while stewarding quality. - Drive vendors to deliver on time results and challenge technical status quo. - Lead all communications, upward and downward through the organization; raising key issues and options for resolution with executive teams.

Education & Experience

Bachelors in engineering preferred. Masters or MBA are considered a plus.
