DESCRIPTION

The AWS Security Awareness team supports the AWS network with programs to increase cloud security awareness and proficiency. As an essential member of that team, you will create training and awareness material for both internal and external customers. You will ensure the training raises the security bar at AWS, exemplifies the voice of AWS, and empowers customers to have confidence and deeper knowledge in AWS security. Creating engaging security training programs, thinking outside the box, process automation, and championing inclusive security culture are also key functions of this role.

Specific job responsibilities include:
Own security training and awareness programs and initiatives
Work with a cross-functional team of technical and non-technical key stakeholders across multiple business units to conduct audience and needs analysis
Identify training needs and current security training gaps
Develop security awareness eLearning, video, instructor led content, virtual classroom design, tool kits, study guides, and support aids
Define and report performance-based learning objectives and key metrics
Administer Learning Technologies
Work on multiple projects in a fast-paced, high-energy environment
Investigate and take action to meet customers' current and future needs
Analyze training impact with behavioral metrics

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelors degree in instructional design, technology, or related learning field experience
5+ years of instructional design, technical training, or compliance training
5+ years of application of adult learning theories and UI/UX design best practices
5+ years of experience designing, writing content, and evaluating eLearning, job aids, video, or webinars
3+ years of proficiency with a variety of eLearning development tools including Articulate Storyline
3+ years of experience with adult learning theories and instructional design best practices

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Masters Degree or PhD in relevant field
Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to effectively communicate with both technical audiences and non-technical audiences
3+ years of project management skills with the ability to work independently
A passion for creating engaging and effective learning experiences
Familiar with ADDIE, SAM or other course development models
Experience with translation or localization of content
Experience with a large-scale LMS and troubleshooting technical issues
Proven track record for being innovative, creative, and effectively deal with ambiguity
Meets/exceeds Amazons leadership principles requirements for this role
Meets/exceeds Amazons functional/technical depth and complexity for this role
