Manpower is currently recruiting for an experienced ACCOUNTING SPECIALIST to join a local family owned manufacturing facility in Henderson, Kentucky.
This position will be responsible for analyzing information, maintaining complete and accurate records for all aspects of the Accounting Department, provide prompt, courteous responses to inquires or complaints for clients, vendors, lenders and internal associates. This will include handling all administrative functions needed to post and track accounts receivable, accounts payable as well as the collection and cashiering of such debts.
What is the job?
Some of the essential functions of the position include, but aren't limited to:
* Collaborate with all departments to ensure all financial actions are accurate
* Maintain accounts by recording, identifying and verifying financial transactions
* Keep accurate records of incoming and outgoing payments to the organization
* Prepare and distribute daily weekly, monthly, quarterly, and year-end reports for management
* Review Sales Requisitions to ensure accuracy and prepare manufacturer's warranty
* Process customer invoices
* Process and pay bills including warranties and sales expense reports
What do you bring to the job?
* Associates degree in Accounting or Finance
* 3-5 years of related experience in A/P, A/R, Bookkeeping, etc.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
* Work with a sense of urgency and efficiency with a strong attention to detail
