What the job is:
- Ensure processes and products are in compliance with ISO 9001 Quality Standard and requirements
- Upgrade and implement Quality Management Systems, drafting procedures or revising existing SOPs and training employees for proper adoption of new system requirements
- Maintain and organize internal quality audit program and external audits with customers and third-party certification and regulatory bodies - schedules internal audits, schedules audits with registrar, reports on audit findings and assists with the correction actions, train internal auditors on Quality systems, manage corrective and preventive action plans
- Reviews Supplier Quality Manuals issued by the Customer and ensure compliance
- Complete self-assessment and audit surveys from the customer
- Assists with any customer requested audits and special audits
- Assists with other corporate and plant audits when requested
- Maintains calibration records
- Assists with maintaining document control system
- Participates in Quality Improvement Teams as a representative of the Quality department
- Monthly reporting on audit findings and corrective actions, ISO 9001 audit schedule and formal audit reports
What you bring to the job:
-Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
-Minimum of 2 years' experience in quality
-Knowledge of IATF 16949, ISO 900 and ISO 14001 requirements
-Internal auditing training preferred
-Proficient in MS Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
-Assertive with good communication and organizing skills
-Must be able to coordinate and multi-task
-Knowledge of SAP software a plus
