Job Purpose:

Directs the development and implementation of activities in production area(s) to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives. Manages the activities of the team and is responsible for staffing decisions, training and development, and performance management of the staff. Prioritizes production schedules based on product introduction, equipment efficiency, and materials supply. Plans and administers procedures and budgets. Makes budgetary recommendations regarding and, at higher levels, controls capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor. Develops schedules and manpower requirements for assigned areas. Selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.

Nature of Duties/Responsibilities:

* Directs and schedules daily activities for shift personnel
* Developing and maintaining Training database
* Monitors manufacturing efficiencies both at operator and technician levels
* Selects qualified candidates to fill open positions and requirements
* Apply and administer company policies and procedures to ensure compliance
* Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience:

* Minimum 2 years supervisory experience
* Experience supervising on off shifts, beneficial
* 5 years Experience in SMT and other areas within manufacturing
* Minimum High School Diploma education level required
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite of programs is required
* Secret Clearance preferred or ability to obtain clearance
