Salesforces AppExchange is the leading marketplace for Entrepreneurs and Independent Software Vendors (ISVs) to build, distribute and market enterprise solutions to customers across the globe. The AppExchange team is made up of Product, Marketing, and Enablement teams who all come together to grow and support our ecosystem of ISV partners. The ISV Technical Evangelism team is an innovative group of technical professionals who enable and inspire our ISV partners to build amazing solutions using world-class technical resources and platform expertise. While working closely with our Product teams, we enable ISVs to architect, develop, and distribute enterprise quality applications that power successful businesses on the AppExchange.

Role Description:
An ISV Industry Evangelist with the Healthcare and Life Sciences team at salesforce plays a pivotal role in recruiting and enabling ISV partners across four key sub-verticals (Provider, Payer, Pharmaceuticals, and Medical Devices). This role is focused on both the recruitment and technical enablement of ISV partners that are building product solutions that focus on the HLS vertical. As an Industry Evangelist you will:

* Build new Businesses - This role will work closely with the ISV Healthcare & Life Sciences Sales and Product teams to help identify and recruit ISV partners to build the next generation of leading-edge industry commercial product solutions.
* Drive Partner Innovation - This role will drive innovation by educating ISV partners that are building product solutions on areas of the salesforce platform that drive business and technical success. We use webinars, events, blogs, and workshops to help accelerate partners on using the latest technologies within their own solutions.
* Connect the Art of the Possible - Demonstrate through software demos, rapid prototyping, and storytelling how ISV partners can leverage the latest technologies to solve business challenges. This includes the delivery of executive-level software demonstrations, construction of future state partner strategies.
* Deliver Business Value - As an Industry Evangelist within Healthcare and Life Sciences, you'll work with individual partners and provide guidance on their product strategy while evangelizing and recommending technologies and solutions that help accelerate time to value.

Your Impact:

* Become a highly certified and recognized Salesforce expert among our Partner Community
* Serve as a trusted technical advisor to Industry ISVs building commercial, enterprise-quality apps on the Salesforce platform
* Participate in the recruitment of new and strategic Industry ISVs who wish to build enterprise product solutions
* Lead architectural and design discussions with ISV partners to ensure technical success with Salesforce technologies
* Build and present customized demos of Salesforce products
* Participate in all appropriate product, sales, and procedural training and certifications to acquire and maintain the knowledge necessary to be effective in the position
* Influence next-generation platform technologies, features, and tools in partnership with internal product R&D teams
* Evangelize Salesforce platform technologies via interactions with our partner community including in-person events, blogs, discussion forums, workshops, and webinars

Minimum Requirements:

* 5+ years experience focused on consulting or building products in Health & Life Sciences industries
* B.S. Computer Science, Software Engineering, MIS or related degree or equivalent work experience
* Proven results leading and overseeing customer and/or partner success stories leveraging technology to drive digital transformation
* Ability to understand business & product requirements, translate those needs into a product solution vision and present your recommendations to executive and technical audiences
* Ability to think strategically and advise ISV partners on architecture options and best practices for bringing a new product or feature to market
* Passionate and knowledgeable about exploring and experimenting with the latest Salesforce platform technologies
* Excellent presentation, demonstration, and interpersonal communication skills
* Talented at explaining complex topics clearly and concisely, and effective at providing practical guidance

Preferred Skills/Experience:

* Demonstrated experience building or implementing enterprise-scale software solutions that drive business and customer value
* Product experience with one or more common enterprise software platforms (Salesforce, AWS, Microsoft, ERP) and an understanding of relational database technologies
* Ability to articulate industry-specific vision and capabilities (speak the language of the customer)
* An experienced speaker on webinars or public-facing events
* Salesforce Developer Certifications

Expected Travel

* 10-25%
