The Business Insights teams main purpose is to develop analysis and measures around the inforce block of business. If you have had prior experience analyzing profitability of inforce policies or other elements of the life insurance product life cycle, such as mortality, youre a great fit for this role. How Youll Contribute

* Develop and maintain tools to analyze different elements of inforce policies such as mortality and policyholder behavior
* Monitor product non-guaranteed elements and recommend actions
* Support development of insurance risk limits and stresses
* Build and maintain Tableau dashboards to monitor insurance risks
* Monitor and analyze utilization of product optionality and time-bound features
* Support management with ad hoc projects to aid in strategic decision making.
* Recommend areas of potential improvements and implement solutions
* Communicate and present results to management with clarity and appropriate depth
* Collaborate and maintain effective communication with key stakeholders

Tech & Tools You'll Use:
Alteryx, SQL, Tableau, Microsoft Excel

Factors for Success

* Bachelors degree in Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or equivalent experience.
* Associate of the Society of Actuaries (ASA) with 4+ years of experience.
* Strong quantitative, analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Good understanding of life insurance product as well as the regulations and actuarial guidelines applicable to life insurance products is highly desired.
* Strong working knowledge in MS Excel, SQL, Alteryx and Tableau.
* Knowledge of predictive analytics a plus.
* Ability to work in both a team and autonomous environment.
* Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines with thoughtful planning and effective execution.
* Excellent organizational, interpersonal and communication skills.
