Barrons, the worlds leading investing publication, is seeking a Product Manager to assist with driving digital growth of its Wealth & Asset Management digital products. The Wealth and Asset Management Group provides best-in-class content and tools for financial advisors looking to improve client outcomes. Through our industry-leading rankings and events, we identify great advisors and the habits that made them industry leaders. We are expanding our mission to reach a wider pool of financial advisors more regularly through a new digital platform. We are also building out our rankings digitally to help more investors find the best and most relevant advisors for their needs .
Responsibilities include:
* Working cross-functionally across all areas to define and prioritize business and editorial requirements for new products and enhancements.
* Making product enhancement and optimization recommendations to increase revenue both from advertising and subscriptions.
* Performing business analysis to demonstrate ROI and P&L impact of product enhancements.
* Working with research teams to gather and analyze audience research and feedback regarding new products and enhancements.
* Working closely with software developers throughout the product lifecycle.
* Defining and measuring KPIs for success.
* Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
* 2+ years of product management experience.
* Passionate and knowledgeable about digital media, news and investing.
* Strong analytical skills, including knowledge of Omniture analytics platform.
* Experience analyzing qualitative and quantitative consumer research.
* Experience defining and implementing product requirements for websites and mobile apps.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively across the full spectrum of internal stakeholders and customers.
* Proven ability partnering with a technology organization.
* Highly strategic as well as detail-oriented.
* Bachelors degree or equivalent education and experience.
