The Senior Applications Developer will be responsible for implementation, delivering, and supporting application lifecycle projects utilizing commercial, open-source and custom-developed software by partnering with Sales, Service, Community, and Technology stakeholders. This high visibility Senior developer role for Salesforce technologies (Sales, Service, and Community Cloud) will actively participate in the implementation and expansion of the SFDC platforms at realtor.com

What will you do?

Responsibilities

* Design, develop, deliver, and maintain features and applications that will excite and please a user base of successful real estate professionals
* Collaborate with Sales, Service and Finance Management and User Experience regarding product definition, schedule, scope, and project-related decisions

* Work collaboratively in an Agile/Scrum team to plan sprints, expand stories into tasks, work on removing impediments, and execute at top velocity

* Investigate technologies that can be leveraged to introduce new innovations in meeting business and customer goals

* Gather, analyze and document technical requirements for new projects, enhancements to existing solutions, and production issues reported by end-users

* Perform application configuration activities in Salesforce.com Sales, Service, and Community Cloud

* Understand and communicate functionality, identify risks, manage change and design solutions that are efficient, scalable, and cost-effective.

* Ability to dive deep and research production system issues, resolve user problems and escalate when necessary

* Must be able to walk the talk and code or at least troubleshoot and debug if necessary

What will you bring?

Requirements

* Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science/Engineering or related field
* 3+ Years of Professional Software development experience

* Expert Coding skills using key Salesforce core programming languages (Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, HTML, XML, JavaScript, CSS, AJAX, SOQL, RestAPIs)

* Experience with Salesforce.com Service, Community Cloud, and Partner/Customer Portal implementation

* Experience with Salesforce Lightning Design System and creating components.

* Experience with Salesforce APIs to integrate Salesforce with other tools and third-party applications using SOAP/REST

* Experience with key areas of enterprise architecture, including integration technologies, single sign-on, and SAML

* Experience with Salesforce DevSecOps technologies/tools such as JIRA, GitHub and Copado, etc

* Strong and effective written, verbal, and presentation skills with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional team members

* Must be comfortable with juggling multiple priorities with the ability to manage time effectively

* Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and investigative skills

* Salesforce Platform Dev I & II certification is a plus.
