The Financial Systems and Management Reporting Team (FSMR) is currently seeking a Financial Analyst to support our management reporting function and Master data maintenance activities. Following Dow Jones recent implementation of SAP S/4 Hana, this teams focus is on day-to-day system management supporting the Finance department, delivering a range of system enhancement initiatives and developing our management reporting capabilities on the new platform. The Financial Analyst will support the maintenance of SAP Master data, hierarchies and Management Reporting.

You Will:

* Create and maintain GL master data in SAP including all related hierarchies.
* Perform all necessary user acceptance testing in SAP Quality Assurance environment.

* Interact and collaborate with IT counterparts for all master data and management reporting requests, as needed.

* Refresh and maintain the management reporting portal directory throughout Close, Forecast/Budget cycles.

* Support monthly financial close and forecasting processes as well as annual budget and long range planning cycles.

* Provide senior management recurring reporting using various automation tools and data management best practices.

* Participate in various SAP enhancement initiatives as needed.

You Have:

* Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting strongly preferred. CPA or CMA is a plus.
* Relevant reporting / data management experience 2+ years.

* Planning and organizational skills including effective time management.

* Ability to manage competing priorities under tight deadlines. - Attention to detail with experience in business process development.

* High focus on timeliness and accuracy of all reporting

* High degree of proficiency in PC/computer skills including experience with various financial applications and reporting tools and with Excel, Word and PowerPoint.

* SAP S4/HANA and TM1 financial systems experience highly preferred.

* Demonstrates initiative, good communication skills and a team player.
