MMC is seeking candidates for our open Global MMC Cyber Risk Analytics Center of Excellence leader position based in North America.
The Head of the MMC Cyber Risk Analytics COE will lead development of leading-edge cyber risk insights and analytical models globally across the MMC businesses including Marsh, Guy Carpenter and Oliver Wyman. Cyber risk is a growing and constantly evolving threat faced by MMC clients, and the insights and models developed by the Cyber Risk Analytics COE will help our clients understand the nature and magnitude of those risks and will help them evaluate the relative cost vs. benefit dynamics of cybersecurity investments and potential insurance, reinsurance or other risk transfer options. In addition to leading the Cyber Risk Analytics COE team to develop algorithms and research papers to support the MMC businesses, this position will drive business and brand value by serving as MMCs public face for cyber risk analytics.

We will count on you to:
* Engage each business on their client-driven risk quantification needs and priorities
* Enhance, maintain and integrate our existing cyber risk modeling suite, including proprietary and vendor models.
* Lead research and development of new cyber risk models and provide thought leadership on emerging trends as cyber risk threats continue to grow and evolve.
* Provide organizing framework for underlying elements of cyber risk solutions across MMC businesses (e.g. data, taxonomies, algorithms, deployment technology, etc.)
* Assess the needs of clients and develop solutions to risk situations, across the complexity spectrum and across all client segments in the MMC business units.
* Manage day-to-day operations to fulfill analytics requests into the MMC Cyber Risk Analytics center (new projects, updates, enhancements, client pitches)
* Play a public-facing, brand-building role, drawing in expertise from academic and potential partners/vendors in the space, and supporting the MMC business units cyber risk expertise from a marketing perspective.
* Leverage our Actuarial & Data Science team on data research and probabilistic modeling algorithms.
What you need to have:
* Engineering / Computer Science / Applied Math / Physics educational background, masters/PhD preferred but not required
* 10+ years industry experience, at least 5 years specifically in cyber risk model development
* Actuarial credentials a plus but not required
* Programming skills a plus but not required
* Insurance background a plus but not required
* Experience running research projects / white papers a plus but not required
