Senior Associate, Complex Assets Valuations

Job Description

KPMG is currently seeking a Senior Associate to join our Complex Securities team, within our Valuation.

Responsibilities:

* Assist with the delivery of valuation services related to a variety of complex financial instruments
* Critically review model functionality, evaluate and document the methodology employed, assumptions used, and conclusions reached
* Effectively articulate valuation concepts to corporate clients across a range of industries

Qualifications:

* Minimum three years of recent valuations experience
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
* Experience with various asset classes and derivatives such as equity (warrants, options, preferred shares), fixed income (bonds, swaps), hybrid instruments, contingent considerations, and put/call arrangements
* Modeling experience with Excel/VBA as well as a familiarity with relevant market data applications, including Bloomberg is preferred
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
