Title: Part-Time Student-Administrative Health/Safety-Waterloo IA - 71803

The Part-Time Student Program is primarily designed to augment the Companys regular full-time staff and is for students who work in parallel to their school schedule.
Your Responsibilities

* Produce safety communications
* Assist teams in safety corrective action resolutions
* Produces a variety of correspondence and reports in support of department safety training
* Perform and track various safety audits

What Skills You Need

* Ideally you will be pursuing a degree in manufacturing engineering; others may apply
* Must be registered as a full-time student at a local accredited university (Hawkeye, UNI, Wartburg, etc)
* If currently attending a community college must plan to pursue a 4-year degree
* Graduation date of May of 2023 or later
* Cumulative GPA of 2.8 or above
* Must be able to commute to the work location on a daily basis
* 16-20 hours/week during the academic year
* 35-40 hours/week during the summer semester

* Good communication skills, written and verbal.
* Proficient at Microsoft Office tools.
* Good interpersonal, negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
* High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
