Act as the Functional lead for Workday run-state and oversee multiple functional workstreams
Provide direction, mentoring and guidance to HCM analysts and Sr. Analysts
Act in a consultative role to offer business solutions and understand stakeholder expectations
Be the escalation point for critical functional production issues
ACCOUNTABILITIES
Own Workday run-state and production support activities - Compensation and Talent
Lead a team of HCM business and configuration analysts
Lead process design and configuration activities including business analysis, process mapping, writing business & functional requirements, configuration documents, test plans and test cases
Own configuration and implementation of Workday fixes, enhancements and change requests
Lead process and functional discussions while collaborating with HRBPs, HR COEIs, technical and development teams and other members of the Global HCM Operations team
Ensure the appropriate development and execution of SOX compliance and controls
Pro-actively manage escalations and project risks
Lead and manage bi-annual Workday releases including identifying impacts and enhancements, directing regression testing and configuring required and optional features
Act as the escalation point of contact for system issues and requests.
Engages HR and other departments (e.g. finance, payroll, IT, legal, etc.) to understand current and future demands and ensure that HR is prepared to integrate with and support their initiatives, projects, and programs.
Focus on identifying trends, determining root cause of problems, predicting future implications and determining solutions to drive effective business decisions.
Ensure work is performed according to defined processes and within Service Level Agreements, and maintain appropriate back-up resources to support service delivery.
Accountable for managing employee lifecycle of all team members
Own Engagement, Performance Reviews, Development Plans, and employee relations issues for direct reports. Provide ongoing coaching/feedback and functional guidance as needed.
EDUCATION, BEHAVIOURAL COMPETENCIES AND SKILLS:
Advanced educational degree or equivalent experience
7+ years of experience in corporate HRIS or HRIT or HCM Operations Management including data, platform, and systems management
Experience with HR Information Management systems such as Workday required
Experience managing cross functional global projects and stakeholders
People management required
Project management experience preferred
