Scope of Position
The Warehouse Operations Manager is responsible for the smooth running of a department of personnel within the air export product in the market place through focus on operations, finances, sales, people, systems and culture in adherence to the companys policies and procedures.
Major Duties and Responsibilities
Know the operation:
Ensure the warehouse is in compliance with Operational Process Standards
Operating mechanical and IT systems
Processing orders
Liaising with other departments
Training, supervising and appraising staff
Maintaining statistical and financial records
Planning
Ensuring that quality objectives and delivery deadlines are met
Managing budgets
Cross train on the office operation
Ensuring compliance with health and safety legislation
Qualifications
Qualifications:
5 years working in warehousing or management activity
Effective at navigating ambiguity and helping diverse teams drive towards clarity and consensus
Can manage multiple and competing priorities
Excellent leadership skills including motivation, negotiation and team building
Excellent facilitation skills
Outstanding communication skills, including oral, written and presentation skills
