In this role, youll be joining a great team of fellow visionariesa development team whose mission is to design some of the most exciting, gamer-focused applications and products on the market.

Responsibilities:

* Youll provide full-stack development vision and expertise, helping to create innovative customer-driven products and applications.

* Well look to you to help guide, lead and inspire both internal and outsourced development partners, as well as leading and guiding multiple project teams of other talented software application engineers.

* Youll focus on all stages of the design and development, helping to successfully develop and refine complex, exciting applications, applications running on multiple platforms.

* Help review, evaluate and strengthen design and project activities, while ensuring compliance with applications design and development guidelines and standards.

* Your domain-specific expertise and overall software applications leadership will allow you to collaboratively provide vision and guidance to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.

* In this role, you will drive exciting innovation solutions, helping to successfully assess and integrate emerging technologies into various projects and activities within the software applications design organization.

* Well also look to you to help guide and mentor our talented staff members who have less experience.

Education and Experience Required:

* Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.

* Typically 4-6 years experience.

Knowledge and Skills:

* To shine in this role, youll have at least 5+ years of experience working with Win32 and/or UWP development.

* Youll pair this with a robust knowledge of C development, combined with other OO languages, such as Java.

* Youre passionate about continually embracing new tools and technologies.

* You code with the mindset of not just does it work, but how can we make it work BETTER?

* You are passionate about writing clean, beautiful code. To ensure beautiful code, you appreciate the power of Test Driven Development (TDD)/ writing unit tests.

Bonus Skills:

* A working knowledge with Jenkins (DevOps) is a big plus.

* Knowledge of iOS and Android development is also a plus.

* If youve had exposure to Prism, this is a plus, but not required.

* A passion for gaming, either via professional experience, or as a hobby, is a plus.

Foundational Frameworks and Concepts:

* This is a collaborative team who loves to develop beautiful products together were looking for a strong team player with strong communication skills who loves to develop collaboratively, and is looking for a great team of developers as excited about technology as you are.

* You have substantial work experience in an Agile development environment.

* Youve got the big picture development focus. You thrive on working with the overall architecture of software applications, allowing you to effectively design and integrate software applications running on multiple platforms.

* Experience with multiple software applications / design tools and languages such as Visual Studio and Git.

* Youll thrive on analyzing the existing application architecture, helping to navigate coding and integration improvements.

* Ability to effectively communicate product architectures, design proposals and negotiate options at senior management levels.

* Help guide leadership and teams on trending software development strategies and improvements. (This will include collaborating and brainstorming with management, internal partners, and outsourced development partners.)

* Your analytical nature and strong problem-solving skills draws you to an R&D driven development environment.
