We are looking for a talented Enterprise Technical Program Manager who possesses seasoned enterprise experience as a Master Scheduler. This role also requires prior experience with hands-on development and excellent written communication skills.

Successfully operates in HP's most complex disciplines. Provides highly innovative solutions. Leads large, cross-division functional teams or projects that affect the organization's long-term goals and objectives. May participate in cross-division, multi-function teams. Provides mentoring and guidance to lower level employees. Routinely exercises independent judgment in developing methods, techniques and criteria for achieving objectives. Develops strategy and sets functional policy and direction. Acts as a functional manager within area of expertise but does not manage other employees as a primary job function.

Responsibilities

* Manages and leads key programs involving multiple functions and program teams to drive the engineering development and implementation process for multiple products or service offerings for a Global Business Unit.

* Directs the development of overall program strategy, budgets, resource allocation plans, and general program requirements for the Global Business Unit.

* Maintains roadmap, planning, overall timelines, identify risks and develop risk mitigation strategies for rollout to multiple geographies.

* Manages activities of supporting program teams and internal and external development partners; ensures alignment with unit strategy and owns responsibility for overall program profit and loss management.

* Communicates program progress, escalations, and issue analysis to product stakeholders; collaborates with business unit management and internal manufacturing and development partners to recommend and implement changes to products, processes, or business practices to drive continuous improvement and manage program costs.

* Drives innovation and integration of new technologies and quality initiatives into projects and activities.

* Reviews and evaluates program plans and guidelines for compliance with program management guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve overall program management quality and results for the organization.

* Manage timelines for multiple team members. Must be able to monitor and ensure that team members are successfully staying in compliance with timelines and targets.

* Leads and provides guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members to set an example of program management innovation and excellence.

* Manages internal and external communication on project status, scope and deliverables.

Knowledge and Skills

* Experience designing and developing project and program planning tools and software packages to create, manage, and track project results.

* A technical foundation, including prior experience with hands-on coding development.

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

* Demonstrated business acumen, understanding of organizational strategy, and successful experience managing all aspects of cross- business unit programs, including communicating with internal and external stakeholders and directing matrixed teams and resources.

* History of innovation with examples of developing new technical and engineering processes.

* Ability to effectively communicate program management architectures, plans, proposals, and results, and negotiate options at business unit levels.

* Collaborates with peers, junior engineers and program managers, technicians, and external and internal manufacturing and design partners.

* Typically interacts with high- level Individual Contributors, Managers, Directors, EXEC3s and Program Core Teams.

* Leads multiple most-complex projects requiring manufacturing, engineering, and/or technical development.

* Drives process innovation and is tasked with key design initiatives.

Required Skills and Technologies

* Master Scheduling experience within an enterprise organization. Must have ADO and MS Project expertise.

* Enterprise-wide rollout experience, dealing with multiple IT systems simultaneously.

* Prior experience with API stack/development combined with prior hands-on end-to-end development experience (Java, .Net, etc.)

* Experience with Cloud, AWS, Microservices and Agile.

* Excellent written and communication skillsin this role we will also rely on you to maintain internal and external media content, such as SharePoint sites, Wiki, developing engaging presentations, etc.

Desired Tools and Technologies

* Ecommerce, Identity, Kubernetes, Security, Privacy experience desired.

Education and Experience Required

* Bachelor's or Masters degree in Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, or equivalent.

* PMP/PMI certification preferred.

* Typically 10+ years experience.

The estimated range of compensation for this job at the time of this posting is $123,000 to $127,000. This position may be eligible for incentive pay, for openings where this is applicable.
