SUMMARY

Under general supervision and as assigned, the DC Associate receives, inventories, picks, packages and ships products for distribution to stores or individual consumers as part of our larger Distribution Operations. This position interacts with a lead and/or supervisor several times a day to receive assignment, direction and feedback. All non-routine activities will require a supervisors advanced approval.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Work as a team member in the assigned department or section to achieve or exceed department objectives; Assist with special projects as directed
* Achieve productivity and quality goals in the assigned department or section
* Follow procedures; Ensure high-quality output accurately and with a high degree of attention to detail
* Complete high volumes of work effectively and efficiently under demanding time constraints and workflow
* Uphold and follow safety standards; Identify and correct conditions that could impact employee safety

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

* Must be at least 18 years of age
* A high school diploma or GED is required
* Must be able to safely lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs
* Must be able to bend, stoop, reach with arms and hands, walk, stand or sit for extended periods of time
* Must possess the dexterity to utilize small hand-held tools and other mechanical/electrical production or cleaning equipment safely and without assistance

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

* 1+ years of experience in a Distribution Center, Electronic Refurbishment or Light Industrial environment
* Working knowledge of personal electronic devices, computer hardware or electronics is highly preferred
