As a 2021 FIS University Program Summer Intern, you will have the opportunity to participate in team projects, community service activities, social events, professional development seminars and work alongside team mentors. This is a full time (40hrs/week) paid internship that will begin on June 7, 2021 and conclude on August 13, 2021.u00A0
About The Team
The Security Operations Associate will be a member of a dynamic custodyaccounting operations team servicing high profile clients in the Wealth & Retirement Administration Industry.u00A0u00A0 Responsibilities include processingreviewing client directed transactions, reconciliation, inquiry managementresolution, andor projects.u00A0 The successful candidate will need to have the ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional groups and management with the common goals of executing our responsibilities and providing client satisfaction.
What You Will Be Doing
* The primary focus will be on daily operations support, reconciliation, inquiry management, transaction processing and monitoring and managing customer instruction.
* Reviews and validates all daily activity in an accurate and timely manner and maintains all required controls to ensure overall accuracy and timeliness.
* Works in conjunction with individuals on the team as well as other support teams to ensure seamless processing per procedure.
* Perform research and resolution process for exceptions, reconciliations, complex transactions and inquiries.
* Remains familiar with back-up procedures when system applications and/or transmission problems arise.
* Escalate unresolved issues/problems to management team.
* Maintains records in support of audits.

* Rising Senior (graduating December 2021 through May 2022)
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Self-motivated and willingness to learn
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Requires strong problem-solving, time management, organizational and data entry skills
* Requires attention to detail and the ability to multi-task and adjust schedules to meet deadlines
* Ability to maintain confidentiality
* Team skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and clients
