Quality Inspector/ Floor Auditor- 3rd shift

Job Description

Job Summary: Perform final inspection of product manufactured in the controlled environment area to assure finished product meets specifications. Perform audits of work cell product, process, and finished goods inspection in production and other quality areas. Perform incoming dimensional inspection on piece parts as needed.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

* Inspect and test product per the provided instructions and specifications
* Data entry with minimum error; compute input of job status in ERP system
* Identify the accepted/defective product with a Job (lot) number and date produced
* Generate a non-conformance report and document defining issues with questionable product
* Perform measurements for engineering investigations
* Provide support for other quality functions
* Record results of Clean Environment monitoring (particulate/endotoxins/ bio-burdens/conductivity)
* Check clean room air flow per specified procedures
* Lift and transport parts between work stations where needed
* Able to understand and explain work instruction procedures & audit for discrepancies
* Inspection of product to ensure Quality specifications are met per product documents
* May use statistical tools such as Excel spreadsheets to chart variances for improvement
* Works well in a team environment
* Enforces the importance of Quality and Customer expectations
* Provide support for internal and external audits
* Active participant in Continuous Improvement and Lean projects
* Demonstrates support of CPC core values.
* Performs other job duties as assigned to meet business needs.

* None

Required Job Qualifications:

* High School diploma or equivalent
* Prior related work experience in manufacturing/quality
* Good hand/eye coordination and finger dexterity
* Good communication skills
* Working knowledge of MS Office
* Ability to read, understand, and accurately follow written instructions and specifications including basic blueprint reading
* The ability to perform measurements using scopes, calipers, micrometers
* Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing
* Detail oriented to accurately and completely record production figures and complete data entry in the production computer system
* Able to be certified to work in a clean room environment (which includes but is not limited to gowns/gloves/face mask/hair nets, & booties)

Preferred Job Qualifications:

* Basic blueprint reading
* Dimensional Inspection
* Familiar with ISO9001 guidelines and GMP

Travel:

* Up to 10%--will need to travel between North Park and Roseville locations.
