As a Product Manager working on Privacy, you will be involved in every aspect of the product development process, from brainstorming the next privacy innovation to working directly with designers and engineers to implement features that improve the privacy and security of our users. You will use your start-up mindset, your empathy for the privacy needs of our users and your full range of product development skills to produce elegantly simple features that ensure that our users messages are secure. Youll be expected to push the boundaries of whats possible in a mobile app, while sharing in our healthy obsession for quality and attention to detail.

Product Manager, WhatsApp Privacy Responsibilities

* Lead the ideation, technical development, and launch of innovative product features related to privacy/security

* Drive product development from small features to entirely new products

* Work hands-on with designers and engineers to implement and build new features that meet our standards of simplicity and quality

* Maximize efficiency in a constantly evolving environment where the process is fluid and creative solutions are the norm

Minimum Qualifications

* 5 or more years of experience with mobile technology

* 5 or more years of experience with user experience design

* 5 or more years of experience with product management or product design

* 3 or more years of experience working on privacy products

* Experience driving projects with cross-functional colleagues

* Familiarity with WhatsApp product

Preferred Qualifications

* Experience of going through a full product lifecycle, integrating customer feedback into product requirements, driving prioritization and pre/post-launch execution

* Experience leading a cross-functional team of world-class individuals

* Experience developing mobile products, technologies and platforms

* Experience developing social products, technologies and platforms

* Experience working with Emerging Markets

* BA/BS in relevant field
