KPMG is currently seeking a Manager, Technical Application Development and Support to join our Audit Technology organization.
Responsibilities:
* Provide technical oversight for all phases of the system development, testing, deployment and support on the Smart Audit Platform suite of applications
* Manage the data governance for Federal and highly restricted engagements- ensure all policies and compliance such as FIPs and NIST standards are adhered to
* Manage relationship with customers, ensuring high standards and quality of technical solutions, keeping abreast of latest technology developments
* Rollout: Work closely with Product Management Teams to collaborate on the roll-out and support of any new technology platforms and any data integration work
* Problem Solving: Work with team and other member firms to fix Tier 3 issues
* Synthesize analysis into clear recommendations and findings that add value
Qualifications:
* Minimum five years of recent experience as primary lead on medium to large size application support or development projects
* Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
* Extensive experience in application development, integration and support including leadership roles as a Developer, application support and/or a Project Manager; experience should include interfacing with clients, vendors and other 3rd party providers
* Experience with full project life cycle including planning and executing application implementation and the creation of support procedures; ability to prioritize, delegate and foster the development of high- performance teams to lead/support an environment driven by customer service and teamwork
* Strong understanding .NET Framework concepts, ASP.NET and SQL Server programming
