As the Contingent Workforce Program Compliance Lead you will ensure Compliance is at the fore to inform our Contingent Workforce Acquisition process, experience and roadmap. This role works across the Contingent Workforce team to support strategies and planning for all team priorities as well as with cross-functional partners. The successful candidate will be highly process driven and detail-oriented. The position will have a day-to-day focus on Compliance spanning global privacy regimes like General Data Protection Regulation, onboarding requirements, data management and retention, audit management, training & education, and contract management. Key cross-functional partners will include Sourcing, Learning & Development, Internal Audit, Legal and HR Technology. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Facebooks mission, have a background in Contingent Workforce management and Compliance and can effectively analyze and communicate strategic recommendations with leadership.
Contingent Workforce Program Compliance Lead Responsibilities
* Lead strategic planning and implementation activities related to the Contingent workforce program Compliance regimes
* Act as point person in the Contingent Workforce Operations team for Compliance related projects
* Manage multiple concurrent projects that require inputs from cross-functional stakeholders while balancing impact on business needs
* Ensure efficacy of Compliance elements of system changes and/or enhancements
* Lead and manage program engagements with Auditing organizations
* Initiate and independently drive process improvements, resolve issues, and manage stakeholder expectations
* Measure and report on existing processes from a Compliance lens
* Create data analysis and stakeholder communications related to Compliance processes
* Ensure adherence to data management and purging processes
* Serve as primary liaison between key vendors on Contingent Workforce Compliance issues, as well as primary partner to internal stakeholders such as Internal Audit, Legal L&D, Accounting, and Contingent Workforce Business Partners
* Partner with the orientation team to evolve Compliance related elements of the onboarding experience
* Responsible for program Compliance education, assisting in team member on-boarding
* Partner with others on Contingent Workforce Team on cross-functional projects
* Partner closely with the People Compliance Manager on other people Compliance tasks and projects
* Partner with Employment Counsel, HRBPs, managers, and People Operations teams globally
* Direct project activities, conduct reviews, manage risk mitigation & change control processes, and communicate status within business partner organizations
* Identify creative solutions to unique challenges
* Vendor management and evaluation of vendor engaged to provide the services
* Identify issues proactively based on discussions with business partners
* Influence at all levels of the organization and stand ground
Minimum Qualifications
* 7+ years of experience in Compliance
* 4+ years in consulting or corporate work experience focused on Contingent workforce management
* Experience managing Compliance elements of a global Contingent workforce program
* Experience working across various levels of an organization, while building trust and fostering collaboration
* Project management experience with multiple stakeholders prioritizing and delegating projects/tasks
* Experience communicating issues to cross-functional partners at all levels
* Experience with multi-tasking and driving process-improvements
* Customer service skills and proven experience performing in a fast-paced environment
* Capable of exercising independent judgment and discretion while utilizing company policies and practices to determine appropriate action
* Experience working independently and require minimal instruction on the day-to-day work
* Computer skill including knowledge with MS Office applications
Preferred Qualifications
* MA/MS preferred
