Job Summary
The Manager, Diversity & Inclusion reports to the Vice President, Social Responsibility & Talent Development and will be responsible for coordinating, implementing and monitoring Wyndham Hotels & Resorts global Diversity, Equity and Inclusion strategies and initiatives.
In partnership with the VP, the incumbent will assess ongoing organizational needs, analyze and interpret data and trends to recommend, develop programs and initiatives that contribute to Wyndham Hotels & Resorts ability to execute its vision as a workplace that values each individuals experience and contributions; that attracts and retains the best talent; that develops talent while creating an engaged workforce; enhances our culture as a great place to work; contributes to our communities in which we work and live. The successful candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of and experience with core diversity, equity and inclusion concepts, and ability to develop collaborative relationships with various stakeholders to co-create content and align on solutions.
Responsiblities Include:
Coordinate, implement and monitor diversity, equity and inclusion strategies and frameworks to ensure the achievement of diversity objectives and target
In collaboration with the HRMA Analytics & Reporting team, develop metrics that measure the effectiveness of, and promote success of D&I programs as well as identify program gaps
Conduct research, benchmarking and regularly analyze DEI metrics and present findings and recommendations for program changes, as appropriate, to the VP, Social Responsibility & Talent Development
Coordinate and aggregate DEI business updates to be presented in Senior Leader meetings while also building templates and efficiencies for managing DEI Communications.
Support VP, Social Responsibility & Talent Development in developing presentations on DEI progress and trends.
Overall project management of D&I programs and initiatives, including the development of project plans, deliverables, and timelines for execution.
Coordination and completions of external surveys related to D&I surveys
Collaborate with HR Business Partners to embed DEI strategies into all programs & activities ensuring alignment and deployment of key Inclusive Leadership initiatives into the business
Responsible for managing and supporting Affinity Business Groups (ABGs) to advance a diverse, and inclusive community; maintain global diversity calendar (Days of Acknowledgement, heritage months, key actions, and deliverables); communicate DEI initiatives and facilitate the celebration of specific events to ensure awareness and engagement across the organization.
Produce content for and maintain DEI communication materials, including intranet, website, brochures, etc.
Supports development and deployment of segment communications plan including Affinity Business Groups, events, external events, D&I Recognitions/Celebrations, featured learning opportunities, etc.
Work with L&D to ensure team member development programs are offered globally to address current and future business trends and to build Wyndhams culture of inclusion and belonging. Facilitate diversity training programs as needed.
Maintains knowledge of diversity-related issues, legislation, and best practices.

Qualifications
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience
At least 3-4 years of experience in a role focused on D&I
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including ability to network and leverage internal and external relationships to achieve goals
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Demonstrated experience with data analysis preferred, including the ability to present and report on data
Experience in writing business plans
Able to develop strong business partnerships
Strong influencing skills with ability to motivate team members to include peer groups with ability to collaborate across multiple geographies and cultures
Proven successful project management and organizational skills
Past experience in completing diversity and inclusion surveys preferred
Demonstrated ability to consistently meet deadlines and work under pressure in a dynamic, demanding environment, while maintaining a positive attitude and demeanor
Ability to work in a complex, fast paced environment

Scope/Financial Responsibility:
The Manager, Diversity and Inclusion is a member of a 2-person team who have high-visibility across the organization. This individual will work very closely with the Vice President and must be comfortable in dealings with senior level associates. A professional demeanor, understanding of cultural nuances, flexibility and a sense of urgency are critical components for success in this role. Any infraction will cause an immediate and visible blemish on the companys brand image and the teams credibility. There is very little financial responsibility associated with this role.
Travel Requirements:
Travel is very limited to campus locations and company sponsored events.
