Wealth and Investment Management (WIM) is one of the United States leading providers of financial and investment services. The qualified candidate will be responsible for consulting with partners to identify and define business requirements and translate business needs into complex analysis designs and recommendations. They will:
* Identify and recommend internal and external data sources, compile/mine data from multiple, cross business sources; recommend and participate in the development of complex analysis designs using statistical and/or financial analysis, predictive modeling, process documentation, comparative analysis, customer/demographic analysis, etc.
* Interpret results and recommend solutions to increase revenue, reduce expense, maximize operational efficiency/quality, etc.
* Ensure adherence to data management/data governance regulations and policies. Data involved may be very large, structured or unstructured, and from multiple sources. To a certain degree, may assist indirectly in the technical build-out and/or support of databases, query tools, reporting tools, BI tools, dashboards, etc that enable analysis, modeling, and/or data visualization.
* May lead small project teams and provide guidance to less experienced team members.
This person will be a key contributor to the WIM Analytics team by developing solutions for analytic, data, and business intelligence projects. They will collaborate with business partners and internal teams to develop and design analytics solutions for the WIM organization involving delivering data solutions for management functions across the product, client management, strategy, and risk management domains. This person will be engaged in driving adoption of emerging data and BI technologies for the WIM Analytics team. They will also be responsible for daily operational activities including developing and supporting data load processes, BI dashboards, and data security roles. The role will include developing analytic solutions leveraging the Microsoft BI stack (SSIS, SQL Server, SSRS, and Power BI). The role will also develop dashboards using Tableau desktop and Tableau Server. Strong experience in data wrangling from sources like Teradata and Oracle will be important skills for this role.
Required Qualifications
* 6+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling demonstrated through work or military experience; or a Masters degree or higher in a quantitative field such as applied math, statistics, engineering, physics, accounting, finance, economics, econometrics, computer sciences, or business/social and behavioral sciences with a quantitative emphasis and 4+ years of experience in one or a combination of the following: reporting, analytics, or modeling

* 2+ years hands on experience with Microsoft Power BI
* Experience with iterative development approach
* Experience with WIM data environments such as Hogan, Beta and/or BDW
* Experience and interest in SharePoint development
* Knowledge and understanding of complex databases
