The Agricultural Collateral Monitoring Department (ACMD) supports the Middle Market Banking offices within Wells Fargo. As the nation's top Agricultural Lender to Agricultural production and Agribusiness sectors, Wells Fargo has a diverse nationwide Agricultural portfolio. The ACMD is seeking talented analysts to accommodate the growing Agricultural portfolio. ACMD aides in risk management and is responsible for analyzing monthly positions, applying advance rates, and ensuring compliance with credit agreements and policy as well as tracking actual performance against budgeted performance.
The Credit Analyst 2 is responsible for conducting credit investigations and analyzing complex and diverse credit information for companies and industries. Responsible for conducting credit investigations and analyzing complex and diverse credit information for companies and industries.
Functions include but not limited to:
Analyzing loan requests including analyzing borrower information/financial statements
Collateral and tax returns to determine ability to pay
Conducting forecast analysis, preparing credit reports for review
Providing support to calling officers or account representatives and coordinating activity in support of credit approval process
May provide training or review work quality for other credit analysts
The Analyst must be detail-oriented, analytical, innovative, and customer service oriented, enjoy problem solving, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong computer skills (particularly Excel). Industry experience is preferred as the ACMD provides analysis over a wide variety of Agricultural commodities and structures. Strong performers will have growth opportunities.

Required Qualifications
* 3+ years of credit analysis experience demonstrated through work or military experience

* Experience with Lending in the Agriculture industry

* Strong credit underwriting skills
* Strong commercial credit analysis skills
* Knowledge and understanding of underwriting or evaluating commercial credit
* A BS/BA degree or higher in accounting, finance, or economics
