Job Summary:

You will provide strategic and detailed planning and scheduling support within Engineering Services. You will also be a resource manager to justify and lead projects and operational processes that flow from a strategic business plan. We are looking for an experienced, leader that brings creative ideas and solid customer service. You will ensure successful application of processes, including planning, scheduling, and labor analysis while holding the team accountable for driving the business. We are looking for relationship skills and ability to manage reporting to improve efficiency.

You will report to the Director of Transportation Engineering Services

Responsibilities:

* Use leadership qualities to select, lead, and develop a cast from different employee groups
* Direct team in performing detailed and integrated process engineering, sequencing and planning of diverse jobs involving several trades performing maintenance, manufacturing, and rehabs
* Implement training to create a professional and flexible planning team
* Step into an operating area for leadership coverage
* Develop and analyze planning and scheduling metrics to improve efficiency
* Ensure accuracy of Job Plans, PMs, and Work Orders including Maximo Assets, Job Plan Durations, Frequency, and Steps
* Analyze current systems and lead reengineering of planning processes and reorganization of work flow, evaluating best industry tools; remain current on the latest technology in the field
* Ensure reporting data integrity, perform ad hoc reporting, and maintain handhelds
* Partner directly with Auditing/Training functions to solve process adherence gaps
* Maintain process agreement with other Planning Managers
* Develop clear policies, procedures and accountabilities for planning team
* Participate in Job Plan / PM Committee
* Support Reliability and Emergency Maintenance Projects
* Perform Labor Analysis
* Coordinate VPI Walks and Scoring
* Interface and coordinate with other FOS organizations and with Operations team members

Basic Qualifications:

* Advanced technical skills over multiple disciplines and WDW Safety practices
* Lead a team, ensuring productivity and responsibility
* Work with all levels and disciplines in the Company
* 5+ years relevant program planning and scheduling management
* Experience with operational and financial systems using relational databases
* Diagnostic skills and problem solving ability.
* Exhibit initiative and competence in a time sensitive, intense area while managing many projects through a diverse cast
* Proficient in MS Office and current tech

Preferred Qualifications:

* Experience with Maximo and SAP
* Experience in development of integrated information systems
* Familiarity of Disney Safety processes

Required Education

* Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction / Project Management, Information Systems, Computer Science or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Education

* MBA or advanced degree.
