Job Summary:
This person will be responsible for the cash receipting process within the Staples Technology Solutions finance organization.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
* Ability to process high volume of transactions (credit cards, checks, wires and intercompany payments)
* Balance cash receipts on a daily basis
* Reconcile intercompany accounts
* Review credit card chargeback and disputes
* Monitor A/R mailbox for remittance info
* Identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
* Work closely with credit & collection team
* Ability to key data quickly and accurately (key-offs, write-offs & tax credit adjustments)
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree
* 5+ years of cash application experience handling high volume transactions
* Proven ability to multi-task & prioritize workload
* Ability to work independently and as a team member
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
* Strong sense of urgency to get tasks accomplished
