Solutions Consultant with Video Editing Skills

Provides direction and specialist knowledge in applying the technology/application to prospect and client business. Facilitation of customer product/application understanding through presentations demonstrations and benchmarks; provision of support throughout the sell leveraging digital selling technology.

As a Solutions Consultant you will be responsible for providing presales technical / functional support to prospective clients and customers while ensuring customer satisfaction. Deliver high quality standard Concur demonstrations using video production and developing subject matter expertise content. Present and articulate SAP Concur products strengths, relative to competitors. Participate in the design, validation, and presentation of Concur software solutions through our subject matter expert program.

Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures. 3 year experience with relevant computer applications, SaaS, or technology. Will provide supervision of manager or mentor. Bachelor degree or equivalent with 3 - 5 years prior business experience preferred.

You will be working for Concurs Small and Medium Business Distribution Team, where you will be learning on-the-job by remotely supporting US Sales and Presales in a diverse number of ways, ranging from primary creative activities like storytelling, video editing & production, white board animations to secondary activities like doing customer research. This will give you the opportunity to build basic product knowledge and combine this with a good commercial sense while working in a fast paced and entrepreneurial environment.

What you will do:

* Create Customer Facing videos and presentation materials to support the Sales and Presales processes at the SMB level.
* Consult with requestor to identify and clarify the overall tone of the showcase, scope, audio and visual elements, target audience and timeline.
* Analyze the request and conceptualize creative solutions; write and review scripts, and storyboards; review media assets with requestor to develop appropriate project approach.
* Perform video production activities, including editing, graphics, animations, special effects, music selection and voiceover.
* Keep the requestor informed about the progress of the video production.
* Review the final video with the requestor and ask for feedback.
* Perform administrative duties by maintaining the Video Tracker and Library up-to-date.
* Continuously discover and implement new editing technologies and industrys best practices to maximize efficiency.
* Stakeholder management, identify customer needs, identify opportunities for common projects.
* Internal communications (participate in creating standardized communications)
* Ensure collaboration with presales teams, sales and other lines of business.
* Work with the virtual teams across the US SMB organization

Who you are:

We are looking for a talented Solutions Consultant with video production and content management skills to assemble recorded footages and images into a finished project leveraged to close deals. The goal is bring sight and sound together in order to tell a cohesive story. We are looking for individuals that match the following profile:

Business:

* University / college graduate with a Computer Science, Information Technology, Economics or Business Studies degree qualification
* Good understanding of IT market and trends
* Appreciation of technology, internet / web applications and desktop/office automation software.
* Strong sales acumen and technical selling skills
* Creative mind and storytelling skills
* Attention to detail
* Demonstrable video editing ability
* Experience with digital technology and editing software packages and video distribution platforms (e.g. Photoshop, After Effects, Final Cut, Motion, Adobe Premiere, Camtasia, Videolicious, Kaltura)

Non-Technical:

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
* Good experience and familiarity with Sales process/acumen
* Excellent organizational and problem solving skills
* Good interpersonal skills
* Proven production management and project management skills
* Ability to manage deadlines with colleagues and internal customers
* Self confident and a self-starter example: able to set up and drive own meetings proactively.
* Good planning and time management skills
* Ability to multi-task and share job responsibilities with other team members.
* Ability to work in (and preferably experience of working in) virtual teams To get a specific job done often requires working together with many colleagues spread out in different countries
