Finance Manager FP&A, Capital - Abbott Nutrition Supply Chain

Our location in Columbus, OH currently has an opportunity for a Finance Manager.
Responsible for the accounting, financial reporting, planning and analysis related to Abbott Nutrition's global capital, project expense and financial support for engineering services. The Finance Manager directly supports the Nutrition Director of Global Engineering.
This position interfaces with upper management including Division VPs, operation directors and business unit controllers. The manager is expected to provide financial input on decisions that will drive the forecast. The position is responsible for working with senior management to develop targets for Capital Plan. Coordinates the consolidation, reporting and analysis of Capital, Cash Flow and Project Expense. Perform special projects based on strategic initiatives as it relates to the Capital Plan, LRP, etc.
WHAT YOULL DO
* Provide accurate, timely and complete information on project expense, property plant and equipment and molds and dies. Including balances, cash flow, depreciation, and amortization.
* Ability to look at processes, identify improvements and work cross-functionally to implement such improvements.
* Coordinate the division's Capital and Project Expense process for Plan. Ensure financial records are closed monthly in an accurate manner and on a timely basis Develop accurate and consistent financial data and present such data in a clear and concise manner enhancing the management decision making process.
* Provide financial training to Non-Finance people within ANSC.
* Ability to ensure that expense forecasts make sense and willingness to work constructively with operations personnel to ensure understanding and to challenge capital and expense estimates that are not well explained.
* Financial resource for division RCEs, providing guidance and direction as needed. Ability to handle wide-range of responsibilities by providing timely and clear instructions and directions to other by leveraging and challenging staff with assignments to ensure delivery of analyses within timeframes needed and internal controls.
* Manage direct staff of two employees.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOULL BRING
Required
* Bachelors Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance.
Preferred:
* Qualification: MBA, CPA
* 3+ years of people management experience are needed to be successful in this role.
* BS in Finance/Accounting with a minimum of 6-8 years Accounting, Financial Analysis and/or Audit experience.
* Strong computer and analytical aptitude required. Controls oriented. Knowledge of capital CFMs and processes a plus. In addition, the ability to plan, implement, and administer financial information and control systems is essential.
