JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our location in Abbott Park, IL, currently has an opportunity for an Associate Specialist, Global Compensation Administration. The right candidate for this role will be technically proficient and ready for a challenge. This role supports global compensation and provides technical expertise in the delivery of various Compensation programs.

WHAT YOULL DO

* Provide recommendations on various pay actions (promotions, equities, bonus buyouts, etc.) utilizing survey sources, market references, internal equity, and other data as appropriate.
* Make external job offer recommendations (i.e. Same Day Offer and hourly rate recommendations).
* Complete survey submissions for annual and ad hoc salary surveys and utilizes results for the development of start rates, site wage proposals, salary structures and equity studies.
* Perform equity studies.
* Manage the job description process.
* Administer annual compensation programs (salary planning, short-term incentive plans), utilizing Workday compensation module
* Provide input to enhance existing processes or to establish processes for new programs including documentation of compensation practices (knowledge articles, job aids, work instructions etc.).
* Perform User Acceptance and Regression testing, including creating test scripts.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOULL BRING

Required

* Associates Degree plus 1 year of relevant experience.

Preferred

* Bachelors degree preferred and 1-2 years in in a general human resources, compensation, benefits or data management/analysis role.
* Experience running small to medium projects such as incentive plan administration.
* Strong technical knowledge of Excel, required including development of spreadsheets with formulas, functions, pivot tables, and look ups.
* Experience with Workday and Salesforce preferred.
* Possess understanding of local laws and regulations to effectively support the delivery of Compensation programs.
* Multilingual preferred, fluency in English is a must.
