Job Description

The Advanced Product Center is seeking a qualified leader to manage a team of Operations Program Managers responsible for 1 to 3 programs within one of 4 Product Line areas within APC. The successful candidate will ensure that functional and factory areas are executing strategies to meet cost, quality, and schedule requirements while focusing on profitability, improved ROI and sustained growth. The APC Operations Program Manager will be accountable for schedule performance, risk and opportunity management, operational efficiencies and continuous improvement across a program family. The program family can be with RIS or support RMD Programs ranging from $100M to $250M in overall scope.

Ideal candidate will have experience as a Cost Account Manager and leading in an Integrated Product Team (IPT) environment. Additional responsibilities will include the ability to execute plans around operational efficiency in space and capital planning to accommodate growth across the central manufacturing region. The position is responsible for coordinating manufacturing efforts with multiple functions (Engineering, SCM, program management, Operations, Contracts, Property, Finance and Mission Assurance), programs and other internal Raytheon Technologies CMCs to achieve business objectives through all phases of the life cycle (proposal through program close-out). Excellent verbal and written communication skills for reports, procedures, and directives.

Additional Responsibilities Include
Partner with RIS and RMD Product Lines / Product Areas / and Program Managers to develop program plans to meet program contract delivery requirements, drive profit margin and develop program bids and proposals to capture new business
Coordinate and present Operations deliverables in support of the Integrated Product Development System (IDPS) lifecycle to include but not limited to Critical Program Reviews, Gate Reviews, Sales and Operations Planning and Proposal Development. (ie Capital, Facilities, Labor estimates and any applicable learning curves)
Supports and facilitates idea generation in Operations to ensure a continuous improvement culture across above programs to align with short and long-term targets

Required Skills:
A minimum of 10 years of related experience
Understanding of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) and utilizing system data (PRISM/SAP) to mitigate constraints along the critical path.
EVMS Certification
Business and financial acumen, strong analytical and problem solving skills, reliability and sound judgment
Ability to articulate complex issues into succinct, cohesive summaries and presentations. Experience building Executive briefings; advanced in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
Experience using business and project management tools and procedures such as IPDS, Risk Management, Financial Forecasts
U.S. Citizenship status is required as this position will require the ability to access US only data systems.
Ability to obtain a DoD Secret Clearance within 1 year of hire date

Desired Skills
Experience in Aerospace & Defense Manufacturing policies and procedures and/or experience with RF Components, RF Subassemblies, and RF Subsystems
Demonstrated experience in Lean, Six Sigma, and other Operational Excellence methodologies
Excellent oral and written communication skills, including ability to storyline and prepare executive-level discussion documents with a demonstrated ability to influence different styles
Excellent conceptual problem-solving skills with demonstrated ability to bring structure to vaguely defined problems, pragmatically scope problem solving approach, and manage execution
Active Top Secret Clearance
Level 6 Program Management Certification within one year of start date
