The Tool Set Technician position entails working from a production priority list, maintaining inventory and assembling various tooling setups for multiple machine centers. Understanding machining tooling requirements and successfully collaborating with manufacturing customers are key attributes for this opportunity. Previous experience working in, and understanding, 6Sigma concepts and ISO9001 guidelines are a plus.
Please note: This is a modified weekend shift Thursday - Sunday (4 days a week at 10 hours a day)
Required Skills:
* 4 years experience assembling N/C tooling (boring heads, end mills, drills, etc.)
* Manual mill machining experience
* Experience using manual inspection devices (micrometers, scales, calipers, etc.)
* Must be able to lift up to 28 pounds and stand/walk extended periods of time
* Ability to interpret and understand blueprints and other technical documents
Desired Skills:
* Familiar with Windows Office, SAP and TDM
* Experience with heat shrink tooling processes
* Experience setting up CNC vertical and horizontal machining centers
* High organizational and multitasking skills
* Effective time management skills
* Positive and proactive attitude and work ethic
Required Education:
High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
