The Raytheon Intelligence & Space Mechanical Engineering Team is seeking a dedicated Proposal Support Engineer (PSE) to perform activities required to complete high quality and fully compliant proposals from kick-off of the proposals up to contract awards. The PSE should have a familiarity of the proposal processes for U.S. DoD sole-source and competitive proposals. The PSE will train with senior proposal team members and functional resources to perform their roles quickly and efficiently.

Key responsibilities include workload balancing, team engagement, support for proposal documentation and delivery and implementation/documentation of proposal best practices. The PSE uses established processes and approved business tools to manage daily progress and promptly address challenges. The PSE contributes to growing the product line by ensuring proposal artifacts are submitted on-time and quickly supporting responses to customer requests for information, counteroffers, and contract award documents.

Required Skills:

* Two years of engineering proposal process experience
* Experience meeting deadlines and working in a schedule driven environment
* Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask while coordinating multiple priorities
* Must have strong teamwork skills that include the ability to interact productively with project leaders, team members, users and customers
* Competent in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
* U.S. Citizenship Status is Required as this position will require the ability to Access US Only Data Systems
* This position requires the ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security clearance

Desired Skills:

* Strong team-member and collaborator with effective written and oral communication skills
* Knowledge of Program Management, Control Account Management, and Integrated Product Team Lead function and responsibilities
* Experience participating and supporting DoD proposals
* Experience in development and application of proposal schedules, proposal work product matrices, cost estimation standards, and Gate review templates
* Knowledge of RADAR or similar sensor technologies
* Knowledge of production and corporate databases and systems (e.g., VM, SAP, PDM)
* Proficient communication skills (written and verbal)
* Strong technical and analytical skills to develop credible results for presenting to the management and customer
* Engineering domain experience in EO/IR/RF sensor, kinetic weapon, and/or electronic warfare systems
* System Knowledge in warfighting Domains, including at least one of the following: Air Defense, Ballistic Missile Defense, Ship Self-Defense, Air/Land/Sea/Joint C4I, Operations in a Cyber Contested Environment, Network Centric Operations, Critical Infrastructure Protection
* Top Secret - Current

Required Education:
B.S in Mechanical Engineering, Optics, Physics, Systems Engineering degree or related STEM degree with two years of engineering proposal experience

This position requires either a U.S. Person or a Non-U.S. Person who is eligible to obtain any required Export Authorization.
